Your tasks:
- Proactive Cold Outreach: You proactively approach potential customers — via phone, email, trade fairs, or events.
- Winning New Customers: Identify exciting companies in the automotive, electronics, pharmaceutical sectors, and beyond, and build long-term relationships with them.
- Inspiring Existing Customers: Maintain customer relationships and develop them further in a strategic way.
- Strategic Sales Planning: Contribute to the development and implementation of sales strategies to open up new market segments.
- Negotiation skills: Confident price and contract negotiations with support, including with international partners.
- Market & Competitive Analysis: Monitor market trends and competitor activities, and derive concrete actions for the sales team.
- Process Ownership: Help ensure that processes run smoothly — with a keen eye for detail and opportunities for improvement.
- Administrative Tasks: Maintain order-related data, review invoices, and support reporting and analyses for management.
Our requirements:
- Sales experience: Several years of experience in field sales with demonstrable sales success.
- Cold Acquisition Expertise: Solid experience in building new customer relationships, particularly in initial outreach.
- Industry Experience: Ideally, you have knowledge of the precious metals or metal recycling industry, raw materials trading, or the procurement of precious-metal-containing semi-finished goods or products, or related industries.
- Network: Existing contacts in key industries (e.g. automotive, electronics, pharmaceuticals) are an advantage.
- Language Skills: Fluent German and confident English skills, both written and spoken, to communicate successfully at an international level.
- Willingness to Travel: A high level of willingness to travel nationally and internationally is a basic requirement.
- Hands-on Mentality: Strong initiative, persistence, and pragmatism, combined with a structured working style to consistently achieve goals.
- Strong Communication Skills: Professional and confident demeanor, with the ability to interact comfortably with stakeholders at all hierarchical levels.
- Entrepreneurial Mindset: Ability to identify opportunities, assess risks, and contribute your own ideas to drive market success.
- Negotiation Skills: Deal-focused negotiation style combined with diplomatic sensitivity to differing interests.
- Teamwork: Collegial behavior, openness in sharing knowledge, and a high level of commitment to shared goals.
