Spotlight on representative samples
At the end of all the processes carried out, fine samples are taken for the analytical determination of the precious metal content. These samples must accurately represent the precious metal content of each material lot. In order to guarantee this security for you at any time, a maximum of precision is required right from the start during the thermal and mechanical processing described previously.
In the sampling laboratory, several material-specific analysis samples are taken from each material position using standardized procedures and then sealed. One sample is sent directly to an analytical laboratory for determination of the precious metal content, other samples are archived at RECOM as retained samples and can also be sent to you at your request.
